Claire Kelly

Claire joined Oracle in 2010 and was subsequently promoted to Director in 2016; she is now Head of Global Operations for the firm. She practices in both civil and criminal litigation and combines clear strategic vision with a hands-on approach firmly focused on meeting her clients' expectations.

Claire has played a key role in turning Oracle Solicitors into recognized experts in the field of Aviation Law. The case of Bott & Co Solicitors v Ryanair DAC [2019] EWCA Civ 143 completely changed the UK legal landscape in relation to aviation law. She has extensive experience in general civil litigation and non-judicial matters, and has also earned an excellent reputation as a successful negotiator on behalf of her clients. Where negotiation proves impossible, Claire offers creative and effective solutions for her clients. She is a strong and tenacious litigator.

In criminal law, Claire is an experienced attorney with a strong track record of protecting the rights of her clients. She has considerable experience in defending high-profile and multifaceted cases brought by specialized prosecution authorities. She has successfully defended charges of murder, rape and aggravated fraud.
